"If It Wasn't For You", Diane Altomare’s self-released debut CD, is a raw, real, and honest work of art with beautiful, rich vocals and a full acoustic sound, full of mystery and depth. Di opens the door to her soul with her pure and poignant lyrics, displaying the feelings of her “real” life experiences in pursuing her dreams. She walks us through the journey, as if we were right beside her.

Di shares with us many of the blocks, obstacles and self-imposed dungeons she faced along the way. She brings us eloquently out of the dark and to the other side, by examining all the gifts she received in moving through the darkness.

As she found herself at a crossroad in life, she took a stand and boldly claimed that she could no longer quiet the voice inside of her. Calling up her strength and courage, she began to search deep within and discovered many of the fears and obstacles that were keeping her from realizing her dreams. She became deeply connected to doing her “inner work” and found so many gifts in the pain of the past. Through her music, she gives these experiences a voice.
